The workshop invites ongoing work in using evolutionary computation techniques for addressing the problems stated here or any other application of genetic or evolutionary computation to military and security problems. Presentations and posters will be chosen by the organizing committee on the basis of a submitted extended abstract, with a preference for those that have the potential to generate discussion related to the goals of the workshop. Accepted abstracts will be available in electronic form before the workshop.
The following dates are preliminary and are subject to change.

You can submit an extended abstract of between one and three pages in length, or a complete technical paper of no more than six pages in length, including the title page, figures, and bibliography. Email an electronic copy of your submission (in GECCO style) to daci2007@upton9265.net with subject "DACI 2007 SUBMISSION". The format for presentations submitted to the workshop is that used for ACM SIG proceedings. Formatting requirements can be found here, at the GECCO-2007 website. Please pay special attention to the section entitled "ACM Templates for Native Files" further down the page. You can ignore the requirement to omit author names and affiliations as we do not use a double-blind review process.
In addition to your submission, email plain-text information to the same address with subject "DACI 2007 SUBMISSION INFORMATION ", containing the title of the paper, information about the authors (including name, affiliation, mailing address, email address, and phone). At least one author is required to attend the workshop and give the corresponding presentation.
When accepted, in addition to the camera-ready paper described below, a plain-text abstract of no more than 150 words must be mailed. This will make it easier for us to put your submission on the web-page. The message should be formatted as follows:
Authors:
Affiliation, address, e-mail, and phone of the author(s):
Abstract:
Final camera-ready abstracts (1-3 pages) should be mailed to the same address with subject "DACI 2007 FINAL SUBMISSION" (in GECCO style). The final abstract or paper will be published in the workshop CDROM.
If you have any questions regarding a submission, please do not hesitate to contact the organizers.
